The One

Trying to find “The One” foundation for me has been so difficult lately. I started with MAC and then went on to Smashbox’s foundation right before they switched up their formula, I’ve been struggling to find the perfect match for myself.

I was never really into stick foundations however, I had to give the Hourglass a try. The title, Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick speaks for itself. From 26 shades to choose from, I found my matching one to be in the shade Amber. Testing it out in store, the first thing I noticed was that it made my face look flawless. Unlike most stick foundations, this went on smoothly and was easy to blend out. I noticed once I let the foundation set, I was in love with it.

So if you’re looking for a foundation to try out, I would definitely recommend this one!

Effortless Summer Look

When it comes to the summer, I want to wear everything as light as possible. Maxi dresses are basically equivalent as to throwing on a pair of leggings in the winter for me. It’s nice and simple, especially when you’re in a hurry to either meet up with friends or to run errands.

As for my go-to makeup and hair look, I try to stick to as minimal product as possible. In most cases, I usually just go with concealer, bronzer and depending on my mood, eyeliner. I like to go for the tousled hair look which is probably one of the easiest and safest looks to go for this season.

Happy Wedding Season!

It’s that time of year, when Kleenex becomes the real MVP as wedding vows are being said. I’m a sucker when it comes to weddings. The best part about North/South Indian weddings are the traditions and festivities that come along with it.

It’s a Wrap with Trap!

When it comes to finding the perfect nude and pink for my skin tone I always run into a dead end. Last season, liquid lipsticks were all the talk and I can totally see why. I mean, who doesn’t want to rock a matte, long lasting lip? I decided to try out Trap by Colourpop. I had to play around with it to make it work but regardless, here are the ending results! I applied it with my finger instead to give me just the right amount to dab on. Since it was a little too matte on my skin especially with this color, I meshed it with MAC’s Mineralize Glass lip gloss in Modest.

Always Red.

Putting on the perfect shade of lips is the cherry on top for me before heading out. Sephora’s cream lip stain in the color “Always Red” has been my new obsession. It’s the perfect classic red with blue undertones to add that pop to the color; not to mention, matte and long-lasting. What more can you want?

Here’s my outfit of the night from this past weekend. Since I was rocking a classic red, I figured I would throw on a leather jacket to complete the look and give it more of an edgy look.

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas!

We can all relate to getting excited for the holidays and getting to dress up. But the big question is, what are you going to where? So many options to choose from but which option is it going to be? Something casual or something dressy?

If your main concern is wanting to feel comfortable after eating a feast, go with a cardigan or an oversized sweater and pair it with a cute skirt; best way to look cute and feel the most comfiest! If you’re going to be attending a dinner party and want to look your absolute best and festive, go with a cute dress and accessorize to compliment the outfit!

Soft & Gentle
