The Winter Palace

New York City is the place to be around this time of year. My favorite part are the window displays. This year, Saks Fifth Avenue had displays of the six icy wonders of the world and the seventh being the Winter Palace building at Saks Fifth Avenue in lights above the face of the building.

  1. The Winter Palace at Saks Fifth Avenue
  2. The Great Barrier Reef
  3. The Icy Eiffel Tower
  4. The Sub-Zero Sphinx
  5. The Frosty Taj Mahal
  6. The Great Wintry Wall of China
  7. The Ice-Cold Colosseum

Each display portrayed some kind of icon in this generation. I love the Marchesa Bridal and all the details that went into each window. Don’t miss out on the light show at Saks if you’re there!

Keep on sparkling, xo!

Tour Eiffel

Bonjour! Hope everyone is having a lovely week. Paris is the city of love, fashion and all amazing things. I love the idea of travelling to explore other cultures, food, architecture, and of course, fashion! I had the opportunity to go on the Tour of Eiffel Tower and as much as there was a total of 2 hour wait time, it was worth it! Pictures definitely don’t do justice!

Waiting online to get onto the elevator gave me a chance to really take it all in. Looking at the structure and architecture of the tower amazed me!

The original wait outside to purchase tickets, I would probably say took about 45 minutes to an hour. From there, we had another wait I would say about 20 minutes to go through security and then onto the elevator to the second floor. We preferred to work our way up and then come back to the first floor. The view up here was amazing as well. There was a souvenir shop to pick up some goodies and the story window which had the story of the construction of the Eiffel Tower.

As if you thought that the view from the second floor was amazing, wait till you reached the top! The elevator ride itself was amazing watching yourself go way up. It was much more limited space up here but the view was amazing.

Lastly, coming back down to the 1st floor, was a great way to end the tour. Walking on transparent floors and watching the immersion show was incredible. There were services as well as resting areas with a great atmosphere and of course, an amazing view.

If you visit Paris, I think the wait is worth the view! In total I spent about 4 hours at the Tower itself. Hope you enjoyed the tour!

Au Revoir!

Keep on sparkling, xo!

Hello, UK!

Hey loves! I just got back from vacation and needless to say, it was amazing! I visited the United Kingdom and Europe. I surprisingly can say that I did a lot for 10 days.

The first 2 days I spent in Newcastle. From the environment to the roads, the shops to the food, it sure was a different experience. Not to mention that the driver’s seat is on the opposite side of what I’m used to as well as the roads!

I always love the idea of travelling – seeing different cultures, the architecture, the food, and most importantly the fashion!

Keep on sparkling, xo!
