All I can say is tha for those of you who missed it, YOU missed an amazing performance from Justin Timberlake, the President of Pop and that’s about it! He never fails to be a disappointment! He sure had the entire crowd on their feet.
So let’s start off with the unforgettable events that occurred during the VMA’s like Miley Cyrus? I’m sorry for those of you who are her fans but seriously that was Disney channel turnt up! I did not know what was going on throughout her whole appearance. It seemed like she found the best of three worlds, this new side to her? It’s great and all that she is being who she wants to be and stuff but really…I’m just going to stop there. I must say the Twitter world was going crazy during her performance!
Taylor Swift won the Best Female Video for “I Knew You Were Trouble”. In her speech she said, “I want to thank the person that inspired this song — and he knows exactly who he is — because I got one of these!” (Carolyn Sung CNN). Classic Tay move right there because we all know who that is, Harry Styles from One Direction! Seriously, it’s time to move on Swift!
The last thing I’m going to talk about is my man, Justin TImberlake! The main reason why I watched the Video Music Awards, aside from the red carpet! First off, he was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. His performance was top notch and then his boy band, NSYNC took the stage together to perform “Girlfriend” and “Bye Bye Bye”! Yes, it was TOO good!! Justin Timberlake won Best Video of The Year for “Mirrors” which was well deserved! He never fails to amaze me and it’s amazing to know that he still has it in him! Better to say, he still runs this b—h.
