First Monday of the Year

Keep on sparkling, xo!

With the year coming to an end, it’s a great time to reflect on the past year. For me, this year wasn’t the easiest but I made it through with the support of my loved ones.
Someone once told me that doing what you love the most will be the hardest thing to ever do. I’ve found myself not happy with what I was doing with myself this year. I’m always used to being there for others and helping others yet I’ve never been able to realize my own problems within.
I hate to admit that the past few months I found myself being selfish. I was too busy dreading my work life and taking it out on my personal life. But that’s not the way to fix problems; it’s to be able to admit to it and open up and ask for help. Luckily, I have been blessed to have those who I can turn to any hour of the day to listen to me.
In this upcoming year, I hope to gain back my selfless side and continue to be there for others. Not to let my problems burden within myself and to focus on fixing the issues rather than holding it off. To better understand how to deal with my problems and not let myself give up. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes and that’s okay. It’s to be able to understand the mistakes and try to better yourself. I myself am no where near perfect but i hope to become a better person each and everyday.
Life is too short to live with regret. Love the people who treat you right. Believe that everything happens for a reason. Be daring. If you get a chance, take it. Nobody said it would be easy but it’ll be worth it.

We all go through our ups and downs but it’s about figuring out what the next step is going to be. Take a step back and focus on the goal. Let the people around you be your support system and help you get there. But most importantly, believe in yourself. Anything you set your mind to is possible.

Happy Holiday!

Kendall Jenner X Calvin Klein

When it comes to Kendall Jenner, I love her style. Whether it’s down the red carpet or her running errands; she always looks fab!

This custom made jade gown detailed with crystals and lace looked absolutely flattering on her at the Met Gala. It was definitely a sexy piece with some side boob action going on. Love it!

The Winter Palace

New York City is the place to be around this time of year. My favorite part are the window displays. This year, Saks Fifth Avenue had displays of the six icy wonders of the world and the seventh being the Winter Palace building at Saks Fifth Avenue in lights above the face of the building.

  1. The Winter Palace at Saks Fifth Avenue
  2. The Great Barrier Reef
  3. The Icy Eiffel Tower
  4. The Sub-Zero Sphinx
  5. The Frosty Taj Mahal
  6. The Great Wintry Wall of China
  7. The Ice-Cold Colosseum

Each display portrayed some kind of icon in this generation. I love the Marchesa Bridal and all the details that went into each window. Don’t miss out on the light show at Saks if you’re there!

Sleek Saturdays

Hope everyone had a great weekend! My weekend officially started on Saturday after work. I kept my makeup look simple here trying to focus on my face with a dramatic lip (of course my favorite, Sad Girl). I used my Soft & Gentle highlighter from MAC and my L.A. Girl concealer to lightly contour my face. I like to keep my Saturday nights winding down at home with Netflix and giving myself a manicure a nail session. Last night, I winded down cleaning my brushes. I usually clean my brushes using my Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser from Clinique. It always gives you a great feeling of clean brushes!

I hope everyone has a great start to their week!

Happy December!

I honestly can’t believe that it’s already December! I have been dying over Anastasia Beverly Hills’ liquid lipsticks. I hate having to reapply my lipstick throughout the day but with ABH, it lasts throughout my entire work day without me having to apply more on. The product is pigmented and really gives the full color. One of my favorites is Sad Girl; it’s the perfect color for this season!

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas!

We can all relate to getting excited for the holidays and getting to dress up. But the big question is, what are you going to where? So many options to choose from but which option is it going to be? Something casual or something dressy?

If your main concern is wanting to feel comfortable after eating a feast, go with a cardigan or an oversized sweater and pair it with a cute skirt; best way to look cute and feel the most comfiest! If you’re going to be attending a dinner party and want to look your absolute best and festive, go with a cute dress and accessorize to compliment the outfit!

What are you going to wear for Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving! Keep on sparkling, xo!
